Rain

Mon Apr 28, 2008, 4:44 PM
It has been literally months since I've been on this account...
Last time I was here it was snowing, and now the trees are about to burst into bloom again. And the most important thing -- it's raining! I'm waiting on one of those wonderful spring thunderstorms to come.
I spent a lot of time in the woods with several of my friends on Friday. It was beautiful there, with a stream and moss-covered logs... Actually it was the same place I took these pictures two years ago: [link] and [link]
It wasn't quite as green as last time, of course, but still wonderful.
I even climbed a tree for the first time in who-knows-how-long :)
I have a few pieces of writing in the draft pile that are hopefully close to completion. This seems to happen a lot. I'll have something almost finished and then be at a loss for one or two lines.
Ah well, I'll post a couple photographs for now, and see what happens later.

Hey!! I love your ID
You're so cute:D And I love tin whistle, too

:shamrock:
I've noticed you are quite the follower of Jethro Tull. That is quite good to see :) May I ask, do you have a favorite album? If not, which ones do you like moreso than the rest? :)

oh dear.. favourite album. It's hard to decide between "The Broadsword and the Beast", "Heavy Horses" and "Songs from the Wood". Those last two have a lot of Celtic influences, and I love the anti-modernization theme of several of the songs on "Heavy Horses". I pretty much grew up with "The Broadsword and the Beast". "Pussywillow" is the first song I remember hearing, ever - one of my earliest memories involves it. The music in all of the songs on that album is brilliant - especially in "The Clasp" and "Broadsword". :D

Of course, I have favourites on other albums, too - like the songs "Jack-a-Lynn" and "Mountain Men". The latter is one of the few in which you can actually hear Ian's Scottish accent! :)

I completely love Heavy Horses to death. It reminds me of christmas every time I hear it. Same with Songs from the wood, I suppose.

I remember the first time I heard about thick as a brick, the album being a two part song. I was so interested, so I decided to buy it, and it blew my mind. Still to this day it blows my mind, haha

I must apologies, I don't have the time to stop and read any of your poetry tonight. If it is as inspired as some of your photographie then I shall definately enjoy returning to your gallery.
Thank you, encore une fois, for the favorite on "To a Seagull"

You have some really great poems! You're right - nature is beautiful and shouldn't be taken for granted!
Thanks for the favourite!
